The history of something was not written by historians, but instead by people who lived through a specific period of time in a particular place. This was also known as a first hand account.In the first age of history, the writing of source history was a relatively new invention. In those days, most societies were ruled by the feudal system. There were large landowners, other land owners, the small landowners, and the peasants. With the rise of the nobility, society also became more stratified, with the peasants on the bottom and the nobles at the top.Thus, historians had a hard time finding the proper sources of information to gather information for their writing. They were r equired to rely on folklore and hearsay accounts, which would probably not hold any weight in ascertaining the accuracy of their information. Then came the process of compiling the data, which was known as the compilation.Since there were no recorded records from the past, the primary source history was usually based on hearsay. This meant that they used the words of those who were knowledgeable about a particular event, as opposed to documented records. It was not uncommon for historians to use some of these sources of information to learn information, though, for instance, a point of view, to make their writing seem more accurate.Another area of controversy with this kind of history is that there is the fact that in the United States, many groups claimed that some events and occurrences in history do not match the official story and the facts known at the time. As a result, these historians wrote their own history of their subject, and claimed that these stories and occurrences do not match the facts known.If you choose to write your own history, you might choose to write a primary source history, which is essentially the opposite of a compilation history. If you do so, you may make a major contribution to the field of historical writing, and the popularity of this form of history has increased in recent years.
